Acrylic on canvas, 12 inches x 12 inches. This is the second painting of a small series on Native American men and woman. The paintings are based on the photography of Frank Albert Rinehart, (1861 – 1928). He was famous for his photography of Native American personalities and scenes, especially of leaders and members of the delegates who attended the 1898 Indian Congress in Omaha. I found the photograph searching on Unsplash.

The photograph shows Native American (Apache) Bartelda. She wears a coat and a turtleneck sweater. Her long hair hangs down her back. He is a reference for exploring more Native American Photos.
