Acrylic on a 9 x 7.5-inch board of a horse and rider. I wear a cowboy hat and cowboy boots every day. The painting was based on a photo I saw in a Boot Barn advertisement.
I covered the board with a burnt sienna wash. I used Titanium White, aquamarine blue, and burnt umber to create a variety of blues, whites, and greys.
