The third of three paintings done in Scott Gellatly’s Craftsy course in which we painted this still life using three palettes.
This was done using a 20th Century palette which included titanium white, hanse yellow light, naphthol scarlet, quinacridone red, phthalo blue, phthalo green.
Each painting began with an underpainting using burnt sienna shown below. You can observe the three paintings adjacent to each other as shown below: left to right, 20th Century, impressionist, and classical palettes.
