Acrylic on canvas gallery wrap format, 9 x 12 inches and 1.5 inches deep.  I haven’t used many deep canvases, or gallery wrap format, but I’ve liked them because you can continue the painting around the edges.  I read that Atlanta artist, Dee Venzer said she uses deep canvases because she doesn’t like to frame her paintings.  She says that she doesn’t like her images contained.  Well said.

This painting is based on a photo on Pixabay, a source of copyright free photos.  I wear cowboy boots and jeans nearly everyday, so this had special meaning.

I printed out a copy of the painting using watercolor cold press paper.  I printed words on the image prior to printing.  I sent it to one of my grandsons, Chris as a get well, cowboy card.
